  • Timetable: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 09.00 to 11.30 am.
    • First part of the class: from 09.00 to 10.10 am.
    • Break time: from 10.10 to 10.30 am.
    • Second part of the class: from 10.30 to 11:30 am.

    CALENDAR: IMPORTANT DATES
    • Drop out due date: Friday, 06 March.
    • Holidays: Tuesday, 03 March and Tuesday, 05 May.
    • Easter holidays: from 06 to 11 April.
    • End of the course: Thursday, 09 July (exam check)
    • Dates of issue of academic records: 09 and 10 July.





    ASSESSMENT
    • The final grade is made up of the scores of exams (Reading, Use of English, & Listening) and continuous assessment (Writing & Speaking):
      • Reading and Use of English exams (Files 1 to 5): 07 July.
      • Listening exam (Files 1 to 5): 09 July.
    • Assessment of 5 skills:
      • Reading (20%)
      • Writing (20%)
      • Use of English (20%)
      • Listening (20%)
      • Speaking (20%)
    • Passing grade: 8.0 together with 80% of attendance (=48 hours of class; the maximum number of absences permitted is 12 hours of class).
      • But 6 consecutive absences (hours of class) cause dropping out.

    CLASS RULES
      • You must attend the class with your own material, i.e., your Student's Book.
      • Punctuality and use of English in class is really important. Try not to speak in Spanish.
      • If you are late and there's an activity in progress, you must wait and take part in the next activity.
      • Use your mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, etc. ONLY for class activities. Please avoid instant messaging during our class.

    OTHER ASPECTS
    • bilingual dictionary is recommended in class and for homework. (Avoid the use of translators.)
    • The use of the Workbook is mainly at home. Be ready for its checking.
